Side By Side is a ministry of CMDA for women who are married to medical and dental students, residents, fellows, as well as staff physicians and dentists.

One of the best things about Side By Side Charleston is that it's free to all our members! Women can join us freely without any financial burden, which is a special blessing when finances are tight during training! Like all organizations, however, we do have annual operating costs to keep our ministry running such as study materials, child care, retreat expenses, promotional materials, and perhaps most importantly our Care Team Fund, which allows us to care for our members in times of need or hardship.

$50 covers study materials for 5 members
$60 pays the way for one member to attend our fall retreat
